Tampa Bay Patriarch Men's Weekend
A Patriarch Men’s Weekend provides biblical, spiritual and fraternal exercises to train men in their God-given roles as fatherly leaders.
PATRIARCH seeks to show men how simple, essential and necessary their spiritual leadership is for the legacy of their family. Praying the warrior-poetry of King David, and reflecting on the epic stories of the married Patriarchs, men discover that the ambitious goals and tragic flaws of Biblical heroes have a lot to teach working men about their engagement of family, career, religion and politics. Besides time for spiritual exercise and sacraments, men can expect time also for fraternal conversation, outdoor recreation, and evening relaxation.
Patriarch Tampa 2018 explored the story of Adam and how God's commission for Adam to exercise dominion is essential to understanding the need for husbands and fathers to properly and selflessly exercise dominion over the resources over the resources and blessings that God has provided to them.
The 2018 Tampa Bay Patriarch Men's Weekend was held February 2-4, 2018 at Saint Leo Abbey in St. Leo, Florida. This retreat was sponsored by St. Paul Catholic Church in St. Petersburg.
